A company based in Gowanus creates special boots to keep dogs from tracking dirt into the house.
The owners of Pawz say getting dogs to walk effortlessly in boots is all about how they're made. Pawz boots are made of latex, and easily slip on and off of a dog's paws.
Pawz are biodegradable and come in seven different sizes. The company is a family owned business that got its start nine years ago as a solution to protecting New York City dogs from salt and snow.
Its presence has expanded to about 8,000 stores in about 23 different countries.
