Youth boxing club keeps kids away from violence

A Flatbush youth boxing club is helping kids in the borough build up their confidence and strength.
Professional boxers work closely with kids at Atlas Cops and Kids Boxing Club, teaching them discipline so that they stay away from gangs and drug violence. The free program has been around for more than two decades.
Aureliano Sosa was a teenager when he joined the program years ago, and then went on to box professionally. He now coaches and is passing on some of the valuable lessons he learned in the ring.
The nonprofit coaches about 100 kids ranging from 8 to 21 years old.
