It's deadline day to file your taxes. 

If you've waited until the last minute, you have until midnight to get it done or file for an extension. With the extra time, you will have until Oct. 15, but if you're going to owe money, you should estimate the amount and pay it by tonight. 

If in need of assistance, some New York Public Library branches are offering tax help today. 

The IRS estimates that about 35 million taxpayers, which is about one in every five, have waited until the final week to complete their taxes.
