Get ready for a new food hall in Brooklyn.
Dekalb Market Hall is being built at Flatbush and Willoughby streets as part of the massive City Point development in Downtown Brooklyn.
It will feature between 35 and 55 food vendors on its ground floor.
The project's developer says it will be a food hub, with a mix of local and regional cuisines. Fletcher's Brooklyn Barbeque and Cuzin's Duzin, a donut and bakery shop, are just a few of the vendors that have already signed up for space inside the new food hall.
"What we are getting here is an amazing array of food options for the best makers in Brooklyn, right here in Downtown Brooklyn, in one of the most premiere destinations that this borough has got to offer," said Andrew Steininger, of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
It is expected to open by early next year.
