The defense and prosecution delivered closing arguments today in the trial of a 14-year-old accused of fatally shooting a Brownsville father on his way home from work.
Kahton Anderson is accused of shooting 39-year-old Angel Rojas in the head while aiming for a rival gang member aboard the B15 bus in 2014.
Anderson's defense attorneys haven't denied that he was the shooter. Instead they argued the teen had no intention of killing anyone that day. They say he fired a shot in self-defense.
The case now heads to the jury.
Anderson is charged with second-degree murder.
