At least 5 men wanted in string of pharmacy robberies
The NYPD is looking for at least five men in connection with a string of pharmacy robberies in Brooklyn.
According to investigators, five suspects most recently struck a drug store in Flatlands where an employee had his head slammed into the counter and kicked. The men got away with cough syrup and about $100.
Just two days earlier on April 6, police say that four men, possibly the same ones, robbed a drug store on Avenue T in Mill Basin. Surveillance images of two of those suspects have been released to the public.
The earliest robbery involved three suspects at a Manhattan Avenue pharmacy in Williamsburg back on Dec. 16. In total, about $9,000 and various prescription drugs were taken from all three stores.
Cops are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
