Word on the Street: Healthy eating tactics

A new study has found that if parents want to get their kids to eat their veggies they need to serve them the meals with a smile.



The study, which was conducted by the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Centre, suggests that healthy foods labeled with smiley faces and feature prizes leads kids to be more interested in eating them.



News 12 asked Brooklyn residents whether they agreed with the study and many of them did. 



Some residents said parents should get kids involved in preparing the food to encourage them to eat healthy. While others said being more creative and fun with food can also help.
