Cinco de Mayo celebrated at Williamsburg restaurant
Some residents looking to celebrate Cinco de Mayo went to Williamsburg Tuesday night.
The holiday commemorates an unlikely Mexican army victory over the French in 1862.
Jorge Boetto, co-owner of Mesa Coyoacan, says their authentic Mexican cuisines brought many people to the restaurant for Cinco de Mayo festivities.
The restaurant serves an array of Mexican dishes, including burritos, fajitas and enchiladas. Boetto says they are also known for their drinks, especially their margaritas.
He says in addition to great food, guests were entertained with a mariachi band.
