Williamsburg: Home to one of NY's top runners

A distinguished Brooklyn runner is hoping to become a hometown hero during the Brooklyn Half-Marathon on Saturday.
Gian-Paul Caccia, 29, has already qualified twice for Olympic trials, putting him in elite company nationwide. He says he is lucky to be able to run the streets of Brooklyn for his training.
"It's kind of a suburban-urban area where it's not too crowded. There are some really cool views of the city," Caccia told News 12.
The runner, whose day job is in the credit trading industry, moved to Williamsburg last year.
The race begins at 7 a.m. on Saturday.
