Word on the Street: No Soda

Pressure from healthy food advocacy groups has forced Dairy Queen to yank soda from its kids' meals.

News 12 Brooklyn took to the streets to see how residents feel about having new healthy options for their kids. Dairy Queen is expected to replace the soda with milk or water.

Some residents say it doesn't matter because the kids will just get the soda somewhere else. Others felt the change would be good for promoting healthier drinks for kids.

The new healthy innitiative is set to begin this summer.
