Runners hit pavement for Airbnb BK Half Marathon

Thousands of runners hit the pavement Saturday as part of the Airbnb Brooklyn Half Marathon.
About 27,000 runners participated in the 13.1-mile race that started at the Brooklyn Museum and finished at the Coney Island boardwalk.
Many runners told News 12 that they enjoyed the panoramic views of Brooklyn.
Lodging-rental site Airbnb, which sponsored the event, treated runners to an after-party at MCU Park.
Some runners said after going more than a dozen miles, all they want is a nap and some food.
