Brooklyn man turns MetroCards into works of art

A Brooklyn man is turning MetroCards into works of art.

Artist Juan Carlos Pinto originally got the idea to turn MetroCards into mosaics when he was protesting a recent MTA fare hike.

Some of his MetroCard masterpieces include Frida Kahlo, Hillary Clinton, LeBron James, John Lennon and President Barack Obama.

His mosaics can be seen at the Bishop Gallery in Bed-Stuy, as well as the Elena AB Gallery in Manhattan.
