Word on the Street: No phone punishment

A Michigan judge handed down several punishments to a 23-year-old woman who killed a mother of two when she was distracted on her phone.

One of the punishments is that she cannot use a smartphone for two years. She also has to do community service and speak to driver's education classes.

Additionally, she has to spend at least 90 days in jail.

News 12 took to the streets to find out what residents thought about her punishment.
