Officials: Pistol grip iPhone case 'too real'
Pistol grip iPhone cases being sold online could pose a problem for law enforcement agencies across the nation.
People who spoke with News 12 unanimously agreed that a pistol grip phone case was a bad idea.
Community advocate Tony Herbert says the case is going to "create a big problem."
"We want to save lives right now. And these cops want to go home safe too. They're not going to stand there and ask you 'is that real' if you go to reach for it," says Herbert.
Community advocates say they will be visiting street vendors, bodegas and toy stores to make sure they are not selling these iPhone cases. They say they are also working on a letter to Apple that will be sent out Wednesday.
