Man involved in 2013 SUV assault sentenced

A Brooklyn man who took part in a 2013 assault on an SUV driver with a group of bikers is headed to prison.

Jason Brown was sentenced Wednesday to over three years in prison. Brown pleaded guilty in March to assault and riot in connection with the September 2013 attack.

Prosecutors say Alexian Lien was dragged from his Range Rover and beaten by several motorcyclists along the West Side Highway. The incident began after Lien struck one of the bikers while trying to break free from the group on the road.

Eleven people, including an NYPD officer, were indicted in the case.
