Police: Man shot, killed in Crown Heights

Police say a man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Crown Heights.



Officers from the 73rd Precinct responded to a call of a person shot in front of the Kingsborough Houses, near Kingsborough Seventh Walk. Police say the 42-year-old man was found unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. It happened at around 3:30 a.m.



The man was taken to Interfaith Medical Center and pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.



Sources say the victim was playing a game of dice and drinking prior to the shooting.



No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
