Gunman opens fire into Bed-Stuy playground

Police are searching for the gunman who opened fire into a Bed-Stuy playground in broad daylight.

The shooting was captured on surveillance video at the Pulaski Playground at around 4 p.m. Thursday.

Eric Deadwiley's owns the surveillance camera. He says his wife was outside and witnessed the suspect running toward the playground with his gun drawn.

Kids at the park told News 12 that they avoid the playground and its courts in the afternoons because similar shootings have happened many times before.

Authorities are asking that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
