Coney Island trapeze school offers summer thrills
For people searching for a thrilling summer activity, Trapeze School New York will send students soaring through the sky.
Trapeze School New York, located in Coney Island, isn't for the faint of heart. Flyers at the school can fly 35 feet in the air.
Students say that although the idea of flying in the air seems daunting, learning trapeze is fun to do.
"Let go of that non-trusting thing in your head and you really enjoy the whole thing," says Michael Wells, a trapeze student.
The experience is completley safe. Flyers wear harnesses and trained instructors are there to walk them through each step.
Students at the school say that the scariest part of the experience is climbing up the ladder and once people start swinging, it's all fun from there.
