Rooftop vineyard coming to Brooklyn
Brooklyn will soon be home to the first urban rooftop winery.
The Rooftop Reds vineyard is located on top of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, with breathtaking views of both Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Founder Devin Shomaker plans to give visitors a complete experience. Besides the tours and wine tastings, customers will get to see where the grapes are planted, the fermentation and aging processes, and barrel storage.
Shomaker promises everyone a romantic adventure.
The rooftop will be open to the public in August.
