Cops ID 1 of 2 suspects in Red Hook shooting

Police are asking for help finding two men behind a shooting in Red Hook that they say was gang-related.
According to authorities, two men pulled up in an SUV outside the Red Hook Houses on Dwight and Delavan streets at around 11 p.m. Monday. One of the men jumped out of the vehicle and opened fire, hitting two men and three women.
One of the victims, identified as 19-year-old Special Houston, was four months pregnant when she was shot in the stomach, and subsequently lost her unborn child.
Investigators have identified one of the suspects as 19-year-old Marquise Frederick, who also goes by Kiki. They say the second suspect has been identified, but his name is not being released at this time.
Authorities say the suspects are believed to be members of the "Ow Ow Gang" from the Gowanus Houses, and that the shooting was in retaliation against the "Gangsta Money Makers" gang for a separate shooting.
Family of the victims claim they are not affiliated with any gangs, and were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
