A, C stations between BK, Manhattan to close
Several stations on the A and C lines will be closed over the weekend, transit officials say.
The repairs are part of a project to restore the Cranberry Tube, a 1.6-mile subway tunnel between Manhattan and Brooklyn that was severely damaged during Superstorm Sandy in 2012.
For the weekend, the High, Fulton, Chambers, Canal and Spring street stations will be closed. Trains into Manhattan will instead run on the F line.
The MTA says the repairs will take place over 40 nonconsecutive weekends from now until the summer of 2016.
