Hot and humid conditions continued Wednesday in Brooklyn.

Despite the heat, there was still plenty of foot traffic along Surf Avenue near MCU Park in Coney Island.

Some people told News 12 that they trekked to Coney Island for the cool ocean breeze to provide relief. They say they took precautions such as wearing lightweight clothing, applying plenty of sunscreen and staying hydrated.

The muggy conditions are expected to stick around for the next few days.
