Woman falls out of car, dies on Bay Ridge Parkway

Police say a woman was killed after she fell out of an SUV on the Bay Ridge Parkway Thursday night.

Officials say 29-year-old Danielle Arronsen and her longtime boyfriend left the Bean Post Pub around midnight. They say Arronsen's boyfriend was driving the vehicle and she was sitting in the back seat. As the car made a turn on Bay Ridge Parkway, the back door opened and Arronsen fell out, hitting her head on the ground, according to officials.

Arronsen was rushed to the Lutheran Medical Center, but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

Investigators say no one else was in the back seat with Arronsen at the time of the incident.

Arronsen's father told News 12 Brooklyn that his daughter loved her life and her 2-year-old son.

The driver was taken into custody and could be facing driving while intoxicated charges.
