Person of interest sought in hotel deaths of 2 women

Police are searching for a person of interest in the deaths of two women.
As News 12 has reported, a 35-year-old woman was murdered on July 23 at the Bushwick Hotel, located at 171 Bushwick Ave
Police say that a 43-year-old woman was found dead Tuesday at the Manhattan Broadway Hotel at 273 West 38th St. Both women may have been killed in a similar manner.
Police aren't releasing the exact manner of the two deaths, but sources tell News 12 that both women may have been strangled. Sources also say after each woman was killed, the room was soaked with water, flooding the floor.
Officials are searching for Joseph Danclair, 36, as a person of interest in the deaths of both women.
Police say Danclair is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 170 pounds and can be identified by tattoos on both of his arms. His right arm has a tattoo of praying hands, and his left arm has a tattoo of a rose.
His last known residence is 530 Parkside Ave. in Brooklyn. Sources tell News 12 that investigators were tracking Danclair's phone, but he has since shut it off.
Authorities say Danclair has multiple prior arrests, and believe that he spent time with each of these women before their deaths.
