Heavy rain makes for slippery commute
Heavy rainfall is making for a slow and slippery morning commute for Brooklyn residents.
One driver told News 12 that part of the Belt Parkway was flooded.
News 12 meteorologist says the heavy rainfall should let up later this morning with scattered showers expected throughout the afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to range between the upper 60s and lower 70s.
If you are heading out this morning, be sure to bring your umbrella and allow extra travel time.
