Residents bundle up, prepare for rainy cold weather

It is a chilly start to October with temperatures in the mid-50s across the borough, and News 12 meteorologists say it's not supposed to warm up anytime soon, with more rain on the way expected Friday.

Residents across Brooklyn bundled up in layers as they headed outdoors.

News 12 spoke with other residents who were at the Home Depot stocking up on supplies like flashlights for possible storms early next week.

The wind chill makes temperatures feel slightly colder with wind gusts up to 12 mph.
