Industrial accident severs woman's fingers

Emergency workers lent a hand to a woman who lost several fingers in an industrial accident in Bushwick Wednesday.

Officials say the victim was operating a machine in a warehouse at 930 Flushing Ave. when something went wrong.

Goffa International Corporation, which owns the warehouse, declined to comment.

A coworker who witnessed the accident says the woman's arm was caught in a conveyor machine.

Police say the victim is expected to survive.
