Police look for suspect in attempted rape
Police are looking for a man who they say tried to rape a woman in her Bushwick apartment building.

 

Officials say the attempted rape occurred on Oct. 2. 

 

The man followed the 36-year-old woman into her apartment building and struck up a conversation with her. As the woman went into her apartment, police say the man followed her and tried sexually assaulting her before fleeing.

 

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male most likely in his mid-20s, about 5 feet 7inches and 170 pounds with brown hair.

 

Authorities are not releasing the exact location of the incident, but they say it happened somewhere between Myrtle and Willoughby avenues and Myrtle and Evergreen avenues.
