Residents brace for flooding in Brighton Beach

Residents in Brighton Beach are battening down the hatches as a blizzard with the potential to produce coastal flooding approaches the area.

Waterfront homes may get flooded when the storm hits Saturday because of the high tide. The city parks department has created several sand dunes that are spread out along the shore.

Some residents say they are not that worried because they don't think the storm will be bad. Others say they are prepared for whatever comes their way.
