The New York Times has reported that a dog was left outside by its owner in Crown Heights during Saturday's blizzard.
A video posted on Facebook has gone viral of the dog outside the home crying.
The video was posted by Evelyn Tully Costa on Facebook, and has more than 300,000 views.
The New York Times also reported that Costa's neighbor had previously abused the dog.
News 12 reached out to the ASPCA on the issue, and it said that it is working with the pet owner to assess the situation and determine the next steps.
