3 accused of stealing $15,000 worth of fur coats from Sheepshead Bay Macy’s store

Three people are accused of stealing thousands of dollars' worth of fur coats from a department store in Brooklyn.

Police say a team of two women and one man stole $15,000 worth of fur coats from Macy's in Sheepshead Bay on Friday.

They say the trio cut the security wires off the coats, which help secure them to the rack.

The group stuffed the coats into a bag and ran off, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
