Brownsville tenants upset with broken elevators

Tenants in Brownsville say they are frustrated with two broken elevators.
Residents of the Glenmore Plaza Houses say they have two elevators. They say one is new but has never worked, and the other constantly breaks down.
They say the New York City Housing Authority told them work would be completed by November.
Those who live in the 22-story building are now demanding answers from NYCHA.
News 12 reached out to NYCHA for a response on the matter. The agency said, "Elevator A is currently in service for residents. Rehabilitation work for Elevator B should be finished by the first week of March. Rehab work for elevator A is scheduled to begin at the end of March (once rehabilitation of Elevator B is complete and it is back in service). NYCHA staff will monitor the performance of the elevators in service at Glenmore Plaza.?"
