Weather Update: Snow predictions rolled back

Forecasts show light snow showers in the region Wednesday, which might complicate the morning commute if there's any accumulation.

The snow should stop falling around 9 a.m. Wednesday with final amounts likely on the lower end of 1-3 inches, according to meteorologists.

Wednesday skies will be mostly cloudy with highs from the upper-30s to low-40s before dropping into the mid-20s overnight.

Thursday morning could see additional snow showers, according to forecasts, and temperatures will drop into a bitter cold weekend.
