A pharmacy in Dyker Heights marked its grand reopening on Saturday. Pollina Pharmacy first opened in the area 11 years ago. It recently moved to a new location, just two doors down at 7605 13th Ave.

Dyker Heights pharmacy marks grand reopening
A pharmacy in Dyker Heights marked its grand reopening on Saturday.
Pollina Pharmacy first opened in the area 11 years ago. It recently moved to a new location, just two doors down at 7605 13th Ave.
It can be tough for small, local pharmacies to compete with major retailers, but Pollina's owners plan to begin selling Brooklyn-based products to give the store an edge.
Customers say the pharmacy's family-oriented atmosphere keeps them coming back.
