A Brooklyn woman has been arrested in connection to an attack on a New York City tourist who police say refused to purchase phony Statue of Liberty tour tickets.
Police say 19-year-old Teresa Thorson along with 25-year-old Robert Andersen assaulted the man.
The man was with his family when he was confronted by the two suspects in front of the Staten Island Ferry terminal. Police say Thorson asked the victim if he wanted to buy Statue of Liberty tickets, but when he said no, Andersen came up and punched him in the face.
The victim is still recovering in the hospital and suffered a fractured skull.
He is expected to be OK.
