Tiny Brooklyn baby store robbed at knifepoint
A man with a knife stole $250 in a robbery at a baby store in Carroll Gardens Tuesday, the store owner says.
Tiny Brooklyn, the store, reopened Wednesday, a day after workers say a man threatened an employee at knifepoint.
Store owner Rachel Blackburn says her employee was alone in the shop when the man entered.
Blackburn says the man forced the worker to her knees in the bathroom before he stole her wallet, keys and cellphone.
The man also took money from the cash register. After he left, the employee called 911, Blackburn says.
Police sources say the robbery may be linked to other knifepoint holdups in the neighborhood.
Meanwhile, Blackburn says she changed her locks and will keep at least two people working in the store at a time.
