Police are searching for two men who punched a woman in the face during an attempted robbery in Brooklyn.
It happened on April 28 on Schenectady Avenue and Dean Street around 7 a.m.
Police say the two men came up from behind the 27-year-old woman and demanded her belongings.
They say one of the suspects kept his hand near his waistband to simulate that he had a gun. However, when the victim refused to hand over her belongings, police say the suspects tried to grab them from her.
They say a struggle ensued, and the suspects punched the woman in her face several times before running away empty handed.
The two suspects are described as being between 13 and 15 years old, 5'8'' tall with slim builds.
Police say they were last seen wearing sweatpants and hooded sweatshirts.
