Best of Brooklyn: The Bainbridge Times

Rusty and River Fields, two teen brothers who say they want to grow up and become neurosurgeons, have created their own monthly newspaper covering Bed-Stuy.

They are 17 and 14 years old, respectively, and say their Bainbridge Times was inspired by the philanthropy of Magic Johnson and Jay Z.

"We figured, what could we do now without the money? If we invest of ourselves and our time, what could we create?" the teens say. "So that's how the paper came about."

The Fields brothers say they focus on finding positive stories in their community.
