12-year-old Brooklyn boy’s arm impaled on metal fence after game of tag
A 12-year-old boy in Brooklyn was impaled on a metal fence after playing a game of tag, according to police.
It happened on 1378 St. Marks Ave. around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Police say the boy fell on a low-lying metal fence that tore through the child's arm and bicep. 
Police say the boy's older sister was able to run for help, but that the children's parents were not home. 
He was transported to Kings County Hospital in serious, but stable condition, according to police.
Police are ruling the incident an accident.
