Elderly residents living at a supportive housing facility in Prospect Heights say they are without a working elevator and that their complaints to management are going unanswered.
Residents at the three-story Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens facility say the elevator has been out of order since April 11.
Bernard White, a resident at the facility, says he tripped and fell while using the building's stairs and now has ankle pain.
However, the building's staff says they have been helping residents navigate the stairs.
News 12 is told the elevator's circuit board blew out and failed inspection.
A contractor for the building says he is still waiting for replacement parts from the manufacturer.
