Police investigate citywide bank account theft at ATMs in Brooklyn

Police are looking for a man accused of stealing more than $3,000 from New Yorkers' bank accounts in a citywide pattern centralized in Brooklyn.

Police say in March and April the man withdrew money from six victims' accounts using their information at ATM locations in Brooklyn.

The man was caught on bank surveillance video wearing a dark-colored hat, and police say he has a beard.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
