Gravesend students with limited mobility are using technology to express their creativity on canvas.
Zi Gang Pang, 18, is able to paint without the use of his hands via laser. He still picks the palette, brush size and composition, but never touches paint to canvas. That part is done with the help of a painting facilitator.
A number of students with limited mobility have been laser painting weekly since last winter and are already making progress.
Teachers say the laser-painting program also helps students with physical therapy and communication.
P.S. 721K is a vocational school that helps place students in internships at local stores.
