2 missing children found in Brownsville
Two Brownsville siblings, an 11-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy, went missing for hours Wednesday, according to officials.
The kids were dropped off at Brownsville Ascend Charter School, where their mother works, before they vanished.
Surveillance video shows Cormari Wachuku and her brother Sekou walk out of the building.
Witnesses say they saw the siblings on a bench outside of the school at one point, but police were called to the scene after the children disappeared.
Officials and community members searched for nearly five hours before an uncle found the missing children in the Brownsville area.
News 12 is told that the kids are now safe.
