On Friday, Borough Hall was the site of a tribute to the victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting.
Borough President Eric Adams put the finishing touches on an 800-foot rainbow ribbon that is wrapped around Borough Hall. Over the past week the ribbon has had thousands of messages of hope and solidarity written on it by Brooklyn residents.
The ribbon will be displayed until the end of the month. Adams intends to deliver different sections to the families who lost loved ones in Orlando.
