Nets introduce Brooklyn native Isaiah Whitehead

The Brooklyn Nets introduced Coney Island native Isaiah Whitehead Tuesday.

Whitehead was selected with the 42nd pick in this year's NBA draft. The 21-year-old, who attended Abraham Lincoln High School, was acquired by the Brooklyn Nets in a draft night trade with the Utah Jazz.

"Since the Brooklyn Nets got here, I mean I've always dreamed about playing for them and just wondering how it would feel, what it would feel like to actually play at Barclays for the Nets. So now I'm just living the dream," he says.

Whitehead will wear No. 15 on the court. He is expected to sign his contract within the next month and begin training in September.
