Brooklyn businesses gear up for fireworks rush
Thousands of people will descend on Brooklyn Bridge Park to catch a glimpse of Macy's July Fourth Fireworks Spectacular, and eateries in the area are gearing up for the rush.
Luke's Lobster has spent the week prepping food to get ready for the crowds and has brought in extra staff to handle the rush. Last year, the staff says there was a line around the shack all day.
Restaurant 7 Old Fulton is also expecting a busy day and has rolled out a holiday special: seafood pasta.
Other businesses are offering reserved seating for a price.
The fireworks show starts at 9:25 p.m. Attendees are being urged to get there early to get a spot and get through extra security. Public transportation is recommended because many streets will be closed off through the duration of the show.
