Bed-Stuy hosts 4th annual Afro-Latino Festival
A weekend-long celebration of African and Latino culture is underway in Brooklyn.
Bedford-Stuyvesant is hosting the fourth annual Afro-Latino Festival at Restoration Plaza.
The festival began in 2012 and celebrates the contributions that people of African descent from Latin America have made to New York City and to the world.
Food, music and art from various cultures are on display as the festival attracts both local and international entrepreneurs. The festival also includes conferences, culinary presentations and artist showcases to highlight the values and issues important to the Afro-Latino community.
The festival continues Sunday.
