Police: 2 men steal $3, fax machine in home invasion

Police are seeking two men for a home invasion robbery in Borough Park.

The incident happened near 50th Street and 15th Avenue on Friday.

The 76-year-old victim, who doesn't want his name released, says he was heading home from synagogue when the two men followed him inside the building and forced their way into his apartment.

Once inside, police say they tied the man to a chair and demanded money. They then tore through his apartment before making off with $3 and a fax machine.

The victim, who was not injured, says for the first 10-15 minutes he thought they were going to kill him.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
