2 men dead after shooting on Osborn Street in Brooklyn

Two men were killed in an early morning shooting in Brooklyn Friday, according to police.

It happened on Osborn Street around 4 a.m.

Police say they responded to a 911 call for two men shot in the area of the 73rd precinct.

They say a 40-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were found with gunshot wounds to their back and forearm, and both were transported to Brookdale Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Police say the 40-year-old man has been identified as Perry Chance, a Brooklyn native and father of four.

The 37-year-old man's identity has not yet been released pending family notification, police say.

Police say the men were standing outside of 101 Osborn St. when a gunman approached them and began shooting.

Police say there may have been an earlier dispute between the men, and they are looking for the gunman believed to be a 17-year-old man last seen wearing a white T-shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
