Brooklyn residents in Sunset Park protested against landlords who they believe are not doing their job,
Samantha Bravo, 11, is one of many tenants living at 430 61st Street who says she is frustrated with her landlord.
"Don't let people push you around," Bravo said. "Don't let the landlord think that he or she can get away with everything cause she can't."
Bravo and other tenants allege that their landlord, Sue Fondon, has refused to fix windows, leaky ceiling and floors in their apartments.
They also claim to have faced discrimination, including threats to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Bushwick residents at 36 Linden Street are also uniting against alleged tenant harassment.
The landlords at both properties were unavailable for comment.
